2 Indian Heads & 1 Shield Nickel

Hello ALL!

I headed back to the park I dug 2 Indian Heads at last week... an 1883 and 1887... I had dug 3 IH's there last year... I wanted some silver...

I meet a co-worker and new metal detector Jay at the park just past 8am... it was 26 degrees....

I hunted up the middle of this small park with little results... then moved to the right side along the bush line where I had found all of the other IH's... 5 minutes in there I get a good signal....

I get thetarget out of the hole...

Its INDIAN I yell over to Jay....

I rescan the hole... 2 inchest to the left... there is another target... I dig 2 inches to the left and 2 inches down...

hmmm.... 1-2 mm larger than the IH.... and thicker....

After a little clean up... and wet you can see the shield...

Not sure this coin will look great... but I'll work on it some...

I worked my way down the bush line... another good signal...

I yell again INDIAN!
