2 hr. spin at local lake.

Went by the local beach about 3 miles from my house. Spent 1 hour in waist to chest deep water. I looked over my shoulder and about 50 yards out in the lake was a 4ft. Gator cruising by so the last hr. was in ankle to knee deep water.

I am like an old house cat that catches a rat and brings it to the front door so you can see how his hunt went, well this is my dead rat for today, and like the old house cat I am proud of my junk. Maybe Gold next time.

At least you didn't get skunked or gatore'd in your case. Anyways, I wouldn't worry about the four footer. It's the one that you can't see that you have to worry about.

I used to hunt a lake in Bradenton ,Florida and regularly saw eight to twelve footers swim by. Looked like submarines floating by.lol!
