I had to get out of the SURF last time to the ocean. My teeth wouldn't stop chattering. I have a jet ski wet suit I might try next time.
 
1) Stay in the water, head-deep, keeping most of your skin away from the wind.

2) Find something to break the wind. NOT something woven, but something solid, like a rubberized raincoat, poncho, or drysuit. You'll look really weird, and people will probably think you're certifiable, but, you'll be warmer than someone who is exposed to the wind.
