2 hours at the school yard

tvr

Well-known member
Tejon with 5.75 concentric in the really trashy court yard again.

36 tabs, 24 pennies, 10 dimes, 1 quarter and 15 nickels.
Ring is junk plated. Pin (to right and a little above ring) is a presidential award for excellence that they seem to be handing out a lot more than they used to.

Nice hunting TVR.

You beat me. I only got 28 tabs today.

But I hunted less than 2 hours, so I guess

I'm doin OK...........lol

Happy Hunting,

tvr..........Wow ! You were busy that day, i.e. 120 minutes / 86 finds = one find every 1.4 minutes, or maybe you found coin spill(s). Any way you cut it, that pile of finds equals a lot of hard work and I would say you have "become one" with your Tejon. Nice going ! :clapping:

Todd,
Thanks.
I am actually closer to being one with the Cibola. The Tejon is getting more time now that I have the 5.75 coil and not just the standard 9x8. The area hunted today was only about 15 ft by 20 feet. It is a court yard between the cafeteria and gym entrances to a high school. Pretty much every swing hits at least one target. Several times I had multiple targets with one swing so I noted them, dug the first one, then stayed on my knees to dig the others before doing another swing. After several hunts here I am still only about 2/3rds of the way through this small court yard with the Tejon.

Tabdog,
If you hunted this area, you probably would have had more tabs and found that piece of gold that I know must be there waiting to be found.
Happy Hunting!

Hay Tvr,

You know, I know what you mean about that Cibola.

That was my first Tesoro.

I miss my Cibola. I was really in tune with that machine.

I replaced it with my Vaquero, but I still miss my Cibola.

I don't know if it is cause the machine was so nice, or I

just had an emotional connection with it.

What ever, I still miss it.

That's a great job of digging. Trashy sites just drive me crazy, but I know I have to deal with them. You deserve that little pin of excellence for your diligence.
