If you are asking me fresh water inland lakes ,just got home from diving tonight got one mans 10 k ring will post photo tomarrow
They're always murky water and I can't see worth a crap in front of me so I just stick to snokle detecting where I detect to the depth that the water is right above my head standing up underwater like if I was night detecting on land and I have a 40 pound weight belt on me to keep me down..

some times you need to go where others wont. some places I find the bottem when my mask hits it . didnt do to good this week end was trying to teach my 15 year old son how to do this stuff. both my boys are divers,were getting ready to dive Kingston Canada this week end.
