2 Fresh Rentals = Handful of old coins!

Started out early this morning and hunted 2 different rentals houses until about noon. First rental to hunt was built in 1926 and at this house there were a few coin spills - details are in the Deus forum! It was a 5-silver day before 9:00 this morning!

At the second rental I hit a 1952 quarter on the third target that sounded like a Memorial cent - there was foil mixed with the quarter. In the backyard I got a deep solid signal that was a pocketwatch far beyond repair! Went on in the backyard to score a nice 1905 V nickel much to my surprise!

The weather is much more tolerable this weekend and I have to work tomorrow - so today was the only daytime window until next weekend!

real nice hunt and congrats on the V....!!!!! 111 here today, took the bike out for a short 20mi putt earlier and too hot for that not to mention any tecting.......

A very nice bunch of finds - congrats !

Thanks for sharing your stats - very impressive BTW!

Maybe this is old news but I'm starting to see a pattern in the number in the number of wheats dug vs. number of silvers dug over time (single hunts are usually very skewed) of about 6:1. I saw this in my finds from the 80s and from my finds this year and your 2014/15 totals seem to bear it out as well . . . hmmmm. That kinda confirms something somebody was saying recently that detecting is a numbers game. :nerd:
