2 for 3 at the Dingle Park

From the land of the Bluenose.....my hunting bud, the Bardman was not at home so I walked over to Marie's work and stole the car so that I could get out for a short dig before night shift. Of course I made sure all the domestics were done before I committed the felony.

Thought that I'd give myself a break from the penny parade and hit a spot where I'd have a chance at finding some oldies so it was off to the Dingle. Weather was nice , no bugs but the park still looks like a war zone from it's visitation of Hurricane Juan a few years back. Decided to try the obstacle course that was once a throughfare in the woods just above the high water mark. Some glad I had on my sneakers instead of the Kermit the Frog rubber boots. Still managed to take a few swan dives on tree trunks and moss covered rocks which reminded me of my bad fall here a while back where my baby got hurt and had to be sent to Doctor Garrett.

Signals were far and few between but not the drops of perspiration beading off every part of my body. Par for the course for detecting a mountain goat style path up and down the sides of the hill. Was rewarded only twice on the hour and half hunt and popped out three coins which consisted of a modern penny and a pair of 1952 silver dimes which I cleaned up at home using the Bluenose not so secret recipe of 2 ingredients....white vinegar and baking soda. For the tougher stains I line a glass pie plate with tin foil, baking soda and boiling water and leave over night repeating again if necessary.

Been a while since I have found Her Majesty of the High Seas in silver!
