2 Days of hunting!!

Me and my wife just got our Garett Ace 250 last Sunday and we have only been out with it a few times. The stuff pictured is from our last two days of hunting. We hunted my old Elementary School and High School and a city park yesterday. The first pic is from those hunts. Today we went to a local creek and then hunted the school some more. That is the second pic. We found $3.39 in clad. We did find two little treasures that we thought were cool. The item in pic three we found in the local park at about five inches. We did not know what it was but it had writing on it so we brought it home and cleaned it up. It says 3 Merry Widows. We researched online and found out that it is a condom tin from the late 1800's to 1930's. The other little treasure was found in the same park not far away at about four inches. It is a Matchbox car from 1967. We found a pic of it online and it is the last pic.

Nice finds and that car is great and the condom tin, never knew there was such a thing. The tin, I mean.

I found out about condoms in the 3rd grade. This kid in our class took some that belonged to his older brother and we being 3rd grade children knew exactly what was expected of us. We filled those suckers up with water and threw water balloons on the girls in the 5th grade. We thought it was funny, but they and the teacher and the principal got all bent out of shape about it.

3rd grade boys after 5th grade girls. The storyline of the show: Cougar was being made then and we in our innocence but just didn't know it. Go figure.

The male principal got us into his office and asked us if we knew what condoms were for and we said sure; balloons. He said no, that's something to do with the birds and bees. I asked him if they used them for balloons and he got all red in the face and got out his board of correction. I mean from a 3rd grader perspective, I had seen lots of birds and bees and never seen them wearing condoms. Of course, we had to come in when it rained and they might have used them for raincoats.

Happy hunting to you and your wife. You're off to a good start.
