2 center #2 for the week.

Hello all,

I've only found 4 two centers in my detecting career, two of them this week.

It's been dry here, too dry for detecting lawns. Last night on the way home from a service call we got smacked by alot of rain. Looks like it missed my home town; just enough to wet the sod. Ding-nab-it.

These are some more boulevard finds. Power lines overhead plus dry ground plus taller grass meant every signal except the quarter was just on the cusp of sounding just like iron. I could only run 16-18 in most areas the just a bit of a peep of high tone breaking through. I tried auto a couple of times and every signal pretty much disappeared.

1943-S quarter, 1905-S barber. 1866 two center, (got a 1868 last Tuesday), 1896 IH.

Wow, those are some nice "boulevard" finds, Chrs!

Love the 2 Center. Here in S. Cal, that coin is near impossible to find.

Congrats,

Nice collection Chris. I picked up doing some field hunting this last month and got one of those 2 centers for my efforts. Sounds like you got a great place to hunt. Its getting where you really have to think outside the box now to find those places that might produce. I hunted a couple of those Blvds around here and found they put a lot of the utilities in them here so its tuff hunting with any sensitivity or depth.

That two cent piece is really nice and much prettier than any I've found. WTG! We could also use some rain here in NE Ohio and are due to get some tonight & tomorrow. HH

Man that 2 piece is Nice Looking...great vintage design. I wish they would make more coins look so good as that! Nice job bro.
