It was about 60 here today & all the snow is gone! So I wanted to get in some all-metal practice with the 1270 & also with the Gemini-3 2-box as well to prep for the DIV. Come along for the ride.......

Check out my "passenger"....the Gem-3 all buckled in tight People at stop lights must have thought I was nuts, but oh well, I drive a little sports car
Bill H. called me & brought his Fisher Ferro probe & his 2 sons (One the other cover boy w. hood, William). We were both practicing for future cannonball hunts.....

I'm getting alot better at tuning the Gemini.....but now I just gutta get better @ pinpointing as I didn't want the farmer to look out & see us digging a couple of the huge trenches we did
Here's my helper Steven assisting me in my search.....

The little guys really enjoyed this type of treasure hunting, & we both did alot without headphones so it was easy for the kids to hear what the large iron sounded like. Both kids gave it a shot with the gemini & actually the strap was perfect for them to use over their shoulder like Steven here.......

Well, we found nothing great, but this was really the first time either of us had even tried these things in a field. My only experience was in the backyard. Bill H. found some kind of colonial handle with the Fisher ferro, & some other iron. Seemed like I found all the old farm tools (check out the soopa rare, unlisted pliers!) This wrench is very heavy & alot bigger than pic looks. Also some chains & large plow parts not pictured.....but we all had fun.

This was just a trial.....if I can get some stuff done around the house tommorrow, we might be going to that cellar hole site again where the hunters drove us out. Hopefully we'll have some "real" finds to show, & another one of these JL-style picture posts But, hope ya enjoyed the pics here anyhow. A 2 box really is fun to use & we are hoping to get good with it to locate some dumps......
HH, Bill
