I wish I could say I found these but I didn't !! My works at Casey's and some guy walked in and bought beer with 2 of them!! She had enough sense to snag them both up by buying them from the register for $1.00 each!!! I LOVE MY WIFE !!!! Nice job honey!!!!!! :hot:
No mint mark on either but for $2.00 I'm pretty sure I got the better deal!!! OH Ya......She did make me give her her $2.00 back !!! :rolleyes:
 
Unreal............ someone spending $70 worth of silver for $2 of beer..............:shrug:
 
Yep...Go Figure!!! A couple weeks ago she bought 3 1935 silver certificate dollar bills that someone used to buy cigarettes.
 
They must have been hard up for beer, stupid, too high to know what they were doing........All of the above. Good going for your wife. I think you owe her a meal out! :clapping: HH, Nancy
 
You better get on the phone to whoever is working tonight, Everyone knows $2.00 worth of beer won't go far. And tell Tonya to go in early tomorrow. I have got to find me a smart woman.

unreal. heard a story about how a local wal-mart had kids coming in buying all kinds of toys and candy with big silver.. ends up someone at the register was smart enough to stall the little turds long enough to find out that there was a coin collection stolen from a local guy not long before that... police end up there.... turns out the kids had stolen the coin collection and were spending it face value to buy toys....

Years ago when I worked at Huck's, there were two little boys that came in with silver and I knew it wasn't meant to by candy,etc. I knew their parents. I gave them a call and they were there in 2 minutes. The boys had helped themselves to their parents stash and was going to spend it. :nono: Needless to say, they got their silver back and the boys didn't get anything but a red bottom or a big grounding. Any other time silver came in, I would trade it out and keep it. Same with silver and gold certificate bills.
