Is the clock and the depth reading in numeric form ie. 6" There are many things great about this machine but having a clock in front of you makes it all worth it.
 
I agree with the clock (and the compass can be handy too!) I can't comment on the numeric forms yet as I don't yet have my machine - working on it.

I have to say with the E-Trac at first, I hated the depth meter as I was so used to numbers. I ended up preferring the depth meter as it was easy to see peripherally. Anyway, I'm sure I'll adjust and if not I'm sure Minelab will put it back in in a future update. ;-)
