2-4-6-8?

Hey all
I am not around much so I don't know if this issue has been addressed. I coin shoot so relics are not my interest. The question is, do need to pay attention to 2-8 on the ID and or can I just reject those numbers? If I "reject" does that affect the performance of the X-70? Should I use all metal and just try to ignore all the beeping? Every time I have dug a solid 2-8 in all directions it has been junk.

Also, I have heard prospecting mode can help with the size of a target, is that true and how?

Thanks

John

i just found a civil war 2 ringer last saturday and it hit a solid 6,,, don't no why, but all of the lead I found saturday was 6 or 8... so I wouldn't not x them out...my 2CTs

Modern US coins will not read below a 10 on the X-70 TID. If you are only looking for US coins, you will find a TID chart in the FAQFAQ section above. Target sizing can be accomplished by switching to the Prospecting mode and using the audio response to analyze the approximate size and shape of the target. JMHO HH Randy

Lead and gold have similar properties so I would say keep at least 6 an 8 on. JMO. Grant
