Perhaps. But with the constant moving around of the sand down there you never know. I mean, I was digging up coins the other night that have been down there for over 30 years. There are certainly rings down there that have been there that long and longer. In the picture it looked a little tarnished and maybe like it had some sand/shell marks on it. No matter...12 hours, 12 years, 12 decades...gold is gold and I'll take it. :)
