2/22/14 4 hours hunt almost got gold.

Well I almost got gold for the month, I was detecting a grassy area next to a TOT lot and I found a dollar bill and a 14K (fake) ring. I thought finally it's my 1st gold for FEB, until I saw the tag that was still attached to it. Anyway the weather here in Northern California is warming up and there will always be another day to find gold. I know you guys in the East will get your chance soon, Spring is coming and the snows will melt and I wish you guys do better than me here in the West. Happy/Safe hunting fellow MD.

Bummer on the ring but nice haul anyway. You sure have some hot spots. Here in Illinois I am reduced to watching youtube vids on detecting. Got that brand new ATpro and can't get out with it! Keep the pics coming, I am living through people like you right now!
