1st Wheatie

went to my grandparents old home place today, found my 1st wheatie (1941-D)under the clothesline. Otherwise most coins were from 70's and 80's. So far haven't been able to read my machine to know there's a coin deeper than 4". Anything deeper, the imaging always shows it as size E. Notches at 7 or above i have dug some of those 12" craters, but haven't found anything worthwhile, yet. I will keep digging, one day i hope to be able to read what my machine is telling me

Hi Barfly and congrats to you. Detecting is a great hobby. Keep looking and practicing and you will be a pro before you know it! CU later.
