Just wanted to update you on my first water hunt with the 800. Was using the Bluetooth headphones, so limited in depth (You will lose Bluetooth connectivity with the screen fully immersed).
Initial part of the hunt with the xcal in pinpoint, very, very few targets, beach is really sanded in. Swapped over the the 800, tried beach 1 - not super stable, not bad, but the odd noise. Beach 2 is very stable at 20 Sensitivity.
Initially very few targets but then a solid 30 = silver ring, and shortly afterwards a junk / stainless ring.....
Easy to swing in the water! Not bad. “Jury is still out” on the depth of BEACH 2 mode in the water.
Also found a stainless, fairly cheap watch, read high, around 30 also
