Found this Half dollar after hunting an old 1840s house for two hours. Did not find anything until this find. Almost gave up. Was 6 inches down. This is in perfect shape. Like new

Nice find. Don't give up easily when you are detecting an old house. I was out for 2 1/2 hours the other day and wasn't finding anything and then found an 1838 large cent followed by an 1803 large cent 10 minutes later. Always nice finding a first in any category and knocking it off the bucket list.
