Went out for two hours after assembling it and reading the manual. Hit a VERY trashy park. Came back with a nice pocket full of quarters. The features are excellent and the pinpoint is dead-on. In what I consider a pretty short time I became very comfortable with target ID and tones. Adjustments were easy to make. This is a huge step up from my box-store machine! REALLY LIKE THE 70!

it really jumps out at you from the word go. Best detector going aroud I think. Just wait for your next few trips out, I bet they are most pleasureable.
Best of luck with it.

Good on you Mike. I have had my 70 since it was released and it never fails to impress me. I'm thinking about asking Minelab to put some big red pouting lips icon on the display which you can select at the push of a button so I can kiss it after each outing.
I used to hate push button machines with programs till I got to have a run on this. I haven't looked back since.

Sorry Argyle I forgot to thank you for the kind words in an earlier post. Where do you do your hunting? For gold or coins and relics?
I do both allthough recently Iv been having such a ball chasing gold with the 70 that I slacked off a bit on the coins and relics.
What a great site this is, glad I got the heads up on it from a bloke I know.
Have a good one mate.

Got out a second time, same results! Cant wait for the 18.75 coil to arrive. We'll be going to Arizona this spring lookin for some of the yellow stuff!
