1st time out with new DFX300

Bought new DFX300 in early January from NWI Metal Detectors (hi Larry) and haven't been able to use it until this week. I thought that I had pretty much mined my front yard with my other detectors. Apparently, I hadn't scratched the surface. I can't wait to hit my local parks. Mind you, I am a total newbie with DFX, and only tried preset coins and coins & jewelry settings. I stopped digging because it was getting to cold and dark. Looking forward to spring.

Thank you. I plan on doing just that, after I become familiar enough with it to understand what he's saying.
