I took my 4 yr old ACE 250 with sniper coil out today, went to a city park where a big oak tree fell last yr and they finally got it cleaned up and i thought there might some good finds where the tree was-- and boy was i right-- found 1 clad dime 1 quarter 8 pennys and then about 3 inches down i pulled up a 1918 merc dime it was a little bent but i was jazzed to say the least, 1st time out and i found old silver GREAT HOBBY-- the 250 is like a bird dog--sniffs them coins up, It does everything i want Bob

I have two, one with the regular coil, one with the sniper coil. Frond my first gold this year, today.[ 12K earring].
Love my 250.

Yea went out again today-- i put the stock coil on first time since i got the 250, and for about 1 hrs hunt at a different park- 10 pennys 2 dimes i nick and 1 quarter-- pin pointing is a little different have to get used to it but i cover more ground

It doesn't matter what you find just so you can get out and do some dirt fishing. I keep making plans but something always comes up. I found a penny in my front yard yesterday, but I need to get out for a couple hours at least. HH.

Detuninig the Ace while pinpointing the target is the fastest and most accurate way to bullseye your coin.
When I found out my AT Pro didnt have the detuning feature I was crushed. Have to learn how to pinoint all over again.

yea, went out again today to a newer frisby golf park and foung 1 quarter 7 dimes and 6 pennys and a couple of trinkets (zipper pull) and dog tag, im still having to dig a pretty big hole to find my target with the stock coil, with the sniper alls i did was dig a plug the size of the sniper coil and it was in it, BUT im covering more ground, once i get going i can keep finding coins every 5 min or so , i have to stop after 1 1/2 hrs or so because my back hurts

I saw something in the instruction manual about pinpointing with the AT/Pro and it said to move the coil past the target, release the pinpoint button and press it immediately and it would narrow down your pinpointing area. That may not be what the two of you are talking about, tho.
