1st silver ring+possible gold angel ring+20 coins at the river

I decided since the temperature was going to be 85 degrees yesterday to try the river without my chest waders. I put on my Under-Armor and hit the water. The water temp was 67 degrees and it was cold at first, but I could stand it. It sure was nice not to have to leave the water to pee. lol My finds pouch turned upside down in the water and I lost all the trash items I had dug and a few pennies. I wish it had a zipper all the way across the top instead of velcro. I had this unusual brass piece and now when I go back I will have to recover all these pieces before finding good targets. I usually put my finds pouch on my shoulder strap I bought but it aggravates me and I just strapped it on my waist with a belt. I bought this shoulder strap to use when I was using my GTI-2500 in the shallow water, but use it with the AT/Pro to keep my hands free, After this I took off the belt and the pouch and started putting my finds in my shirt pockets. I found two rings within 5 feet of each other in about neck deep water. I was using pro mode coins and it nailed them both. The angel ring came in as a 50 on the dvi and the sterling silver as a 67. One ring was 6 inches and the other was 8 inches. It was a faint sound that I would have missed without the pro mode. I know zero goes deeper in pro mode, but I had better luck in coins mode/pro. I found a coin spill of 2 quarters and 5 dimes and a penny and my clad total was 20 coins of 3 quarters, 8 dimes and 9 pennies. Last Saturday I found only 9 coins, a marble and some type of military ribbon in the water. The sterling silver wedding band is 92.5 silver and the angel ring looks like gold and has some neat work on the outside of the band, but I couldn't pick it up with my digital camera. It may be gold plated, but I believe it is gold and will find out one way or the other. A man had asked me to try and find his wedding ring he dropped off his dock, but I couldn't get ahold of him yesterday and came on home. Here's the photos. I found one house key. Photos 2 & 3 are the angel ring and # 2 didn't come out good, # 3 is the sterling silver wedding band.

This is my first silver and maybe gold rings of 2013. I still suffer from silver coins drought, but hope to try and remedy this tomorrow or Saturday. The fish were jumping all around me and the turtles were out. One fish jumped about 3 feet away and startled me. Wish I could have caught him in my scoop, because my Mama and I would have had some fresh fish for supper. Good luck and HH.

Good going! sounds like a good day for almost all of us. I'd settle for 55 right now, but I suppose we'll get there eventually. I have to figure out a way to manage water hunts, but nothing I have is waterproof. Not far away there is a nice little fast, rocky river and for years a company has put raft tours in at one spot...gravel and rock bottom and about waist deep . I'd love to get out there.
