1st silver of the year

Ed (Upstate NY)

Spring has finally sprung here in upstate NY. Met up with Park Pirate this morning at our favorite pounded city park. Finds are really getting slim but I was able to sniff out a 56 Roosie that was masked by a Jefferson nickel in the same hole. Added a couple United Traction Company school tokens and finished off with a 1916 Buffalo nickel. Going to have to find some new spots as this park is almost not worth the effort any more ! But I shouldn't complain, it's been giving up nice finds for over 25 years !!!

Nice Ed! I have not found silver yet this year. Only colonial coppers.

Nice one Ed .... I'm still looking for my first this year. It would help if the snow would melt .

Congrats on the first silver if 2013.

nice first silver and Buffalo. I'm getting to same point with my favorite park - not many finds, but still a few.
