out in the middle of nowere 400 ft from the old house i got a brassy round signal with no pop and crackle and up comes this beutifull 1926 quarter with some nice weare on it i have covered so much ground and was praying ohh God just one silver coin and my prayor was heard . Man after hiting this feild for two years and covering all that ground this was a great find i was Using the Musketeer with the 15" wot coil

You found one with a date! Congratulations! I have found many of those standing Liberty quarters but most were so worn that the date was not there any more.
