Found this beautiful watch with no glass, hands, winder, silver gone, but besides that ready to use.
The back has a train with trees and tracks. the back has a nick from a plow. It came from a field in a
lower part of our town where there were houses until 1937 flood they were all lost. The back will not come
off due to the nick. I will try to get it off and let you all know how old it is. It was 2 inches down. VDI was 84
like a quarter. Too bad it is not silver or gold. Still can mark it off my list of new type of finds.

Howdy nalc472--

Good find! I've dug a few pocket watches and some times there is a watch fob nearby. That's a good site that you are hunting. Best of luck and...
