1st Old Coin with X-50

Got my x-50 yesterday and got a chance to go to an old home site lot that belongs to my brother. I have been hunting there the last couple of days with my Shadow X-3 and had found 3 wheaties prior to today. This was the first signal I got when I got out of the car and went to the area that I have been hunting. I know there has to be some silver on the lot but since the old house burned, there is a lot of trash and molten metal that makes it difficult to hunt especially since I am not comfortable with the x-50 yet. I was running the sensitivity at 18 and I think I needed to turn it down some. Any help you could give me regarding sensitivity in trashy areas would be helpful.

Congrats on the wheat. Are you getting false signals when you swing the detector? If not you are ok, if so then yes turn it down a bit. Good luck a trashy site is hard to hunt, Beale.

if it is real trashy you need to slow down your swing to super slow. Sometimes I go as slow as 3-4 seconds per swing if super trashy
