1st month with ACE 350

I've had the Ace 350 for a month now and have been out half a dozen times for about an hour each time to local parks and random friends yards... I think the spoon is plated, but it was my first silver find, and the ring is 18k HGE (heavy gold electroplate) but the stone looks to be legit, about a 2k garnet. the makers mark i believe is form the 40's and is a Vargas? i think they made costume jewelery. i also found my first wheat penny form 1941, my first and second silver dimes 1954 and 1964 Roosevelt. a chuck e cheese token, a couple mood rings, a car key, and a tone of hot-wheels cars that are not pictured. Anyway, i am hooked and cant wait for my next day off to hunt!

wow thats awesome.....u did that with the dd coil im assuming ? Also did the ring hit under the gold/pull tab notch ?
way to go !!

Yes, stock DD coil... The ring was bouncing between the "Ring/gold/pulltab" area and the quarter/dime area. It was about 4 inches deep in soggy dirt.

If I could go back in time, I'd ring the freaking neck
of the guy of guys that invented the blasted pull tab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice finds there. Too bad the ring is only electroplate...but as
they say here on the forum, "Any ring is a ring."

[size=medium]just in case ya didn't know, the old kelso high school property belongs to columbia ford dealership. it's not public. i got permission some time ago to hunt it but haven't really put much of an effort out to do so. ya did real good. you don't say you're new at detecting. just that you're new with the Ace 350. are you digging everything? we'll get together soon for stories and coffee. columbia also owns property between 11th and 9th on florida next to the cowlitx indian comm. ctr. it's vacant. i haven't hunted that as yet.
