1st Kennedy half today...

Found my 1st Kennedy half dollar today with the CTX. It was a 1969 so it still has 40% silver! Put a bad scratch in it though when I dug it up. Odd thing about it was that I wasn't sold on the numbers I was getting with the ID (09-46)...but it sounded so good. It was only 5" deep. That round cursor was up in that right hand corner! Glad I dug it...learned a thing or two also.

Remember the ferrous signal can be 1 or 2 up or 1 or two down, as long as the conductive signal is fairly consistant. that means a 9-46 or a 10-46 or an 11-46 or 12-46 or even a 13-46. I have read that any ferrous number around the 12 line may be good as long as the CO is consistant.

Did you recheck the Hole mabe a nail also??? Mickfin
