1st impression AT Max

I've had an AT Pro for 6 1/2 years, great machine it hits very hard on coins. The 1st year I owned the Pro I uncovered $865 In
clad alone, the next year over $400 plus gold and silver jewelry. The last 2 years I have been working way too much and my hobby has fallen to the wayside.

So I bought an AT Max received it tonight put it together and hit a beach in Fl. Love the back light long overdue, it definitely is deeper than the Pro and a little noisier dug a Zincoln the full length of the carrot with no problem, it seems to ID the same as the Pro. I also noticed you had to swing a little slower and it seemed to hit softer than the Pro. The Pro over a coin slammed more is the best way I can describe it, is that the general feeling of others? Oh and I found 43 cents, 2 pull tabs, 2 bottle caps
and a square chrome washer. several of the coins were crusty and discolored.

Great Hunting!

You are right, the MAX is deeper then the Pro. The Pro is my go to machine for general coin/jewelry hunting in parks, schools etc. The MAX really produces in the water and woods where depth is paramount. Both are great machines.
