1st hunt w/Omega

Had a couple hours today before work so had to try out the new Omega.

Sold my F70 this past year, and was unsure if I did the right thing or not. After about an hour today, think I will really like this Omega. I found it difficult to hunt the local parks with the F70 due to the high EMI present, and running that machine, while very capable as it was, was very fatiguing as you heard everything. I ran the Omega today at 71 sens, gb'd to 61, disc 55, and it ran exceptionally quiet.

The tin disc appears to be an old button, which rang it at 88 and was at 6". The '54 Rosie is my first silver in quite some time so I think this is a good omen. :)

Not bad depth, either......

Congrats on a excellent hunt
