The Bud Man and I headed out Saturday for our first hunt of the year. Buddy was determined to beat his silver total of 2 for last year.(Buddy doesn't get around very well anymore) Since its hunting season we were able to drive into an area that has a locked gate the rest of the year. We went as far back into the area as we could and found a spot and started swinging. I started off digging some clad which is not a good sign but after awhile I got a wheatie. Then Buddy hollers he's got a coin spill...out of it he gets a 64 Quarter and a 60 Rosie plus a wheat He's tied his silver count of all last year and we check the other coins in the spill they are all 65's. After that I dig more clad and we try another couple spots. The last spot turn up silver for me
It's nothing old like Todd's Pine Tree shilling but I did find them under a pine tree if that counts

And what would my hunts be without a few wheaties???

And last but not least another of my favorite kind of finds ....military pins. This is a QuarterMasters pin with most of the gilt intact

Thanks for lookin' ya'll
