1st Hunt of 2014, What a Start!!!

I haven't been posting my finds here for a while, I started a youtube channel "drj8ke" and have been posting finds there, but I missed interacting with you folk so I figured with the new year, I'll start back up.

On my channel is a video of last years wrap with my finds from 2013. I ended the year with 97 silvers. I didn't get out for the last 2 weeks or so of the year with family and the holidays, but a good first year none the less. Feel free to check out some of my videos if you want.

OK, so got out yesterday for the first hunt of the new year. WOW!!! My best day detecting ever! I hope 2014 continues on this track!!

I ended up with 7 silver coins and a silver pendant. At this location, I can use my shovel, so digging those iffy signals is a lot easier so that is what I was doing and it paid off big time.

We have all been there where you are just in the right spot. 3 foot to the left or right and you are getting skunked!

This is a place where a group of us have pulled countless silvers before. My buddy pulled an 1876S Seated Quarter last night.

Some days the sun just shines on you!
