1st hunt in probably 6-8 months, lots of targets and an old one!

Man it's been a long time......
Some of you know I have a lot of ocean hobbies in the summer, surfing, paddleboarding etc...so my detecting drops off during the nice ward months. However I do like the winter storms and the pirate booty that cold waves uncover sometimes.

Hit the "Northern Zone" as Max likes to call it Friday afternoon for about two hours. Figured since we had a day or two of good Northeast winds, something may be out there.....Well I was right, there were targets all over, lots of clad, didn't score any rings, but did manage to find a first for me, a 1954 Half Dollar...go figure!!

Anyway, good luck to all you pirates and will see you in the lane bundled up with lots of cold protection!

Rich well done ! it never ceases to amaze me how much is out there.
It doesn't have to be worth much the success alone is a good feeling hey.
