I said my prayer , God if this lot is worth searching let me find something good within 10 minutes, i got to the spot and did according to jimmys advise , I was searching in disc , and with it set back and started swinging got a few iron pops and then i got what i knew to be for sure an deep aluminum can , so i dug a wide plug. so i could get it out of the hole and when i removed the plug i was shocked a round green thing was in the middle about the size of a quarter it turned out to be a very old token, but it gets better three in one hole its been a long time , since i found something , and it feels good , hear is what it says on the tokens (E.J. ANDERSON POOL HALL GOOD FOR 5 CNT TRADE and then on the back i think the company who made the token ( E.A. SCHMIDT.INC 1809.11 OLIVE ST ST LOUIS)

Very cool tokens Gunnar, you done good:thumbup:

Gunnar,

is this at the old house site you sent me pictures of? I am really happy for you brother Gun! Three nice old tokens in one hole!! :clapping:

AWESOME !! I'm betting this site really pays off with some great old coins . Wishing you continued good luck .:clapping:

Those are really cool and in great condition . I cant find any information about the pool hall in St. Louis . Congrats.

I live 100 miles north of St louis .

Good going, looks like your on the lucky streak. Tokens are always a great find and to find three of them....

Great job on the tokens. A lot of times they are worth more than mercs or rosies. What other goodies did you find?

Gunnar I'm proud for you! Those tokens are some really nice finds. I always knew that if you ever detected at a good site you'd do really well. You're going to find a lot of good stuff at that old site. Keep the videos coming, I really enjoy watching them. A target can't hide behind a nail when swinging a Tesoro. If, I get a audio tone with my Tesoro and find a nail right off in the hole, I know to keep digging. Tesoro detectors have the best discriminators in the business.

I found out who E.J Anderson is . in 1929 the the pool rooms got closed but in 1930 E.J anderson bought out the place and reopened them for how long I do not know the list of former owners is long but it dates to 1930 and is from a small town in minnesota named Isanti but the company that made the token is from St louis MO I do not know how rare it is but its a very small town . firm confirmation its from minnesota to poor to put the name of the town on it but I have the historic info on this guy so its confirmed yes a very good find I am very pleased with it and will donate one to the history center with documentation for the people of this county to see. I did not walk two steps and found it 1st target got to be more of something on the farm . house

Congrats Gunnar
Those tokens are some great finds.

Those are some nice tokens in great condition from a time when a nickel still had some purchasing power! Looks like you may have found an interesting site to swing a coil for awhile...good way to start the hunting season. Good hunting!

Gobble, Gobble, nice finds Gunnar!

Congratulations! Thats a nice spill there...just thinking about the loss is a treat, and seeing you find them is even better!:clapping:
