I just got my E-Trac two days ago and I just got my 1st gold piece. I went out yesterday to try out the machine and check out the controls. Today I went to one of the local parks and my first hit was 12-30 around 4 or 5 inches deep. I think my metal detecting buddy that was with me is ready to trade in his 12 year old Whites (which is still working great) and get an ETrac. I can not find any markings on it but it weights .34 of an ounce. This machine is going to get me in trouble with the parks department. We are only allowed to use probes, no hand trowels of shovels and I was getting hits all over the place up to 12 inches deep. I was careful to ensure all of my holes were filled in, I think I am going to like this machine!.
