1st Gold with MXT

Well, I bought my MXT on June 22 and scored my 1st gold ring with it on Sunday. Its a small, plain 14K ladies wedding band, with no diamonds or ornamentation, but its gold and it doesn't say "Cracker Jack" on the inside. It was in the sand at a tot lot and was certainly a pleasant surprise when the sand was pushed away and the sun hit it. I don't have a digital camera yet or I would include a picture..thats next on my list..thanks for reading..

Certianly a good day! Excellent choice for a detector to.

Congrats on your first ring. There will be many more to come. You'll love your MXT. But then, I guess you already do. :whites:

Gunnar,

The VDI was low..about 16...I was in sand so everything was dug up...I was looking for the usual trash with the low reading, but was pleasantly suprised..I was shocked to find several old nails buried in the sand also which gave an iron reading. Not good for a tot lot. I threw them in the trash. Thanks for reading.

You definitely need a camera, because if you keep swinging your MXT there will be more gold to be photographed. HH Dennis in Idaho
