This was my second time out with my newly bought Minelab Excaliber(Thanks Steve TX)I hit York Beach in Maine this morning about 7ish-a.m.- and tide should have been low into an hour of it coming in but the surge from the storm wasn't letting tide out too low.Debrie all over the roads...The rip tide was trying to drag me out....It was actually a bit scary....I had a signal and couldn't get it dug due to the waves knocking me over...and then tides sucking me out so I decided to go in to shallow water...I felt like I was going to miss the good stuff but my life was on the line... <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> ..so the very next signal that broke the threshold was this heavy thick Gold ring 14K...wow I was smiling and forgot all about my freezing cold hands...didn't stay much longer due to tide racing in and it is sucking out tons of sand....so get on down to next low tide and scoop up all the rings..I am sure Hampton and Salsbury will be the same...Wish I had more energy..Mother nature kicked my butt today.
