I went out with my IDX Pro to the beach this morning for 2 hours came up with some clad, silver ring, and a gold ring all underwater. The gold ring is marked 10K with 2 small diamonds and 2 small rubies and 1 larger ruby. I don't know if the stones are the real thing or not. I'm hooked though. Now I need to get an underwater detector so I don't ruin my IDX Pro!
Will the excal null out on larger nails and bolts? Will the Beach Hunter ID work in the Northwest mineral zone? I am leaning toward the Excal or the Tiger Shark which is unavailable at the moment, although I would rather stick with Whites. Everything I have read about Whites BHID is not very good for where there is mineralization present. Also all the places I hunt do not need depth there is a clay, shell, gravel layer 4 to 8" down everywhere, but I guess depth is a good thing. I wish I could turn the IDX Pro into a water machine.
Thanks,
Steve
