1st GOLD and 1st time out with ATX :clapping:

I got to take my ATX out for the first time the morning for a lake hunt. The ATX handled the light blaksand mineralization with no problem. And all I can say is....it goes deep and is super sensitive to small targets. I was able to find a really small and thin10K religious cross about 2 scoops deep. It gave a soft hi/lo repeatable signal. It is a good thing my scoop has small holes on the bottom so the cross couldn't fall out. I found some trash, but I was digging everything. Can't wait for tomorrow to use it again at the river this time. It will be a good test for the ATX as this is the spot with heavy blacksand mineralization.

I think there are no detectors that goes deeper than an ATX !! with an bather discr, and tone package they would be perfect !:jump:

How did you do at the river with the ATX?
Your infinium should have handled that blacksand giving you problems.

I got called in to work so I couldn't go to the river.

As far as the Infinium...it didn't have the depth in that mineralized river bed. I'm hoping the ATX will get the deep stuff.

The ATX will get deeper targets because of its coil. Tiny bits of rusted metal and bottle caps are a headache. Sometimes you just can't hunt a particular area. I do what Paul does just work the outer areas.

I will find out on Saturday.

Nice score for your first time out. Is your river area rocky? The river around here is really rocky and tough to dig in.

Did you use a Tiger Shark in that river area? Maybe it doesn't handle the mineralization?
