I received my Legacy 3500, Garrett Pro Pointer and the rest of the goodies from www.metaldetectors.com today. EXPERTLY PACKAGED - NO DAMAGES!! Kudos to them for everything! I will be back guys!

Here are the results of a 1 hour hunt in my backyard.......8 pennies, 1 dime, and my first ever ring!! The oldest penny is 1959, the dime is 1988 and the ring is junk......BUT IT'S A RING!! The ring toned in like a dime on the meter. Most of the money and the ring were found where an old clothes line was once located in my backyard.

Have to say the pin pointer makes all the difference in digging. If you don't have one, you owe it to yourself to get one.....no matter what brand.....get one!!

Here's a link to my video pulling the ring out.

HH y'all.

Right on Frank! Sounds like you're really getting to know your new detector. Lot easier to learn than you first thought. Huh? HH.

This thing was basically "plug-n-play" after reading the manual before it arrived.
It is a breeze to operate. Controls are simple and easy to use.
I am sooooo glad I listened to you!!

Thanks again!!

Frank

Frank,
I'm so happy that you're pleased with your new detector. I'm really pleased with mine too. The Legacy 3500 in my opinion is the best detector for the money that Bounty Hunter makes. I prefer it over the Platnum because of the manual ground balance. If you get the 11"DD coil for it, it will go really deep like the Fisher F4. Granted, the F4 has a faster recovery speed but in many ways it's like the F4. The 4" and 10" Magnum coils are also good coils to have in your arsenal. The 4" is great for picking through trashy areas and the 10" goes deeper and is good for covering larger areas faster. The good thing about these coils is that they'll work on your Tracker IV too. Anyway they are some of the next things to consider to complete your metal detecting gear. HH.

Hey Walt,

Thanks for the phone call today. Sorry my job got in the way! LOL

Did a little more hunting in the back yard today.....no rings, but I found nickels, dimes and more pennies......all clad. But every one of them were exactly what and where the 3500 said they were. Loving this machine!!!!!

HH y'all.

Frank,
WTG! If you're finding the nickels, it won't be long before you find your first gold rings and jewelry because gold rigs down in that range. It's just a matter of time and searching in the right place. HH.

Nice diggs frank ur gonna do awsome with that machine I believe its the same as the discovery 3300. I have the 2200 very similar to the 3300 without the gb and pp. I absolutely love this machine and dont see myself upgrading any time soon. Best of luck for the comming season.HH

Thanks PostalTwo.
It has found me 58 coins in 4 days IN MY YARD!!
Gotta love my boys and the holes in their pockets!! LOL

HH y'all.

Frank

Frank,
I'll bet that you don't even feel bad about digging holes in your back yard after getting on your sons for practicing their golf chipping in your front yard either. LOL.
