Well like OldRanger said about his SAC dollar, it ain't silver but it's a dollar. Rang up with a nice bell tone displayed as a quarter about 2 inches down in jewelry mode. ACE 250 sniper coil. These John Quincy Adams were only issued in 2008 but the poor little thing sure has deteriorated rapidly in just 2 years. Clad layer is manganese brass so reckon it should shine up nicely with some Brasso. No real collector value so any loss of toning won't make any difference.

Rest of the take. All of the gold rings I tect look exactly like pull tabs once I get em out of the ground. Don't understand it. No room in the photo for the bottle caps but you have your choice between Budweiser, Olde English 800, King Cobra, Mike's, Miller Genuine Draft or Star's.

Maybe just coincidence but since I've been using jewelry mode I seem to be picking up a lot more nickels than before. They were just random almost accidental digs. Does their low conductivity have anything to do with it? Am I getting a bigger bang for the buck?
