We had set the limit to 12 as this was held on private land. No great finds but everybody got something to share with all.
The youngest entrant was a young girl with her mother and she drew the name for the Gold coin. Yup, she drew her own name, from the look on her face you would have thought she did something wrong at first. And then she had a smile from ear to ear. I think she'll Carry that experience with her for a long time.
Then it was off to the Rec. Center to set up the tables for tomorrows show. I drooled over all the Minelabs that I had on display. BTW no Rep. tomorrow. I'm on my own, at least I'm in charge of the machines that I love.
Tonight was the pork supper and homemade mashed potatoes. MMMMMMMM
After the meal I did a little talk on the Field of Dreams and the XT70 pulling those deep old coppers.
All in all it was a great day and now comes Sat. 70s predicted for tomorrow and I'm stuck inside. Oh well, such is life.
Happy Hunting

Well, I'll be stuck inside with you Bob. At least we'll be surrounded with some awesome finds from around New England like those 8 reales and Tree coppers from Mass. That show always gives me inspiration and new hope for the year to come, besides raising money for St. Jude's Hospital and giving those kids some new hope. I'll get a few pictures of NH Bob and his table of dreams. Ron

Bob glad you had a good time at your show, glad that small girl won the gold, maybe she will be interested in our hobby.
