Using the tesoro compadre i began my 1st hunt of an old farm this site has some potential , just started to find the good earea and had to go , mike never showed up but thears plenty left to search found a THIMBAL,and a LAMP PARTand a 1948 nickle AND a bunch of broken cast iron stove parts, I set the compadre just a bit past all metal and it was doing good updates to come Gunnar the hammerer

Gunnar, just shows the Compadre is definitely an underated machine. I started with one of the earlier 7"coil models, then moved up a bit, but I think that Compadre would have found most, if not all, the finds I've made since then.

Well i super tuned it , and its way better it really hammers the spots

Nice finds. Bought a Compadre for my daughter about a month ago, and i use it more than i use more expensive detectors. Its almost paid for itself in clad alone.
