1st. Class Ring!!

unearth

Member
Went back to the park where I found the two silvers last week, hoping to strike silver again. But, alas, it was not to be. So, instead, I found GOLD!! I found a 7.2 gram, 10k gold class ring. The ring has initials and a year on the inside. The school, Marlborough, is an all girls school, established in 1889. Ironically, the man who brought me to this park, his daughter went to Marlborough. His daughter is going to help me try to return the ring to the owner. I also found a '44 D wheat penny, key and some clad.

Holy cow that's a gorgeous class ring! Super classy! I'm sure whoever lost it is heartbroken! Best of luck finding the owner.

I found a class ring about 3 years ago. It was a nice looking one and had a full name engraved inside. I called the school and they said her mother was a substitute teacher at the school. We ended up getting in contact with each other. She told me the owner of the ring, her daughter had passed away 2 years ago at the time I contacted her. The grandma said her granddaughter had been asking if her mom had any jewelry that she could have to remember her by. She was so excited to be able to give this to her granddaughter to remember her mom by. They drove up to where I worked and I was able to meet them and get a picture with them. I wl never forget that amazing experience as long as I live. I hope you are able to find the owner. It is an awesome feeling to give back to others. The grandma said she had to tell her granddaughter that her mom did not have much jewelry in life and then I called her about the ring. HH

I hope you get to experience the Sheer Joy of being able to return a ring. I have only been able to do that once and I will never forget the experience. Good Luck

I, too, hope you can find the owner. I have returned several rings, and 2 sets of dog tags....WW-I and WW-II.....it is a wonderful feeling. Good luck

My daughter is a current student and I am an alum from 1985 and active with alumnae affairs. If you haven't located the owner yet, we are happy to help!

Great find !! :clapping: Nice ring! I hope you find the owner.
All my ways attempt to find the owners of the things I find, but except a cell, I have not gotten ... more returns a date and initials are not enough to locate the owner of a wedding
