Rings- I think next time I will wipe the table down to get rid of the dust.
 
they are not quite in focus. You might be able to sharpen them in software. I don't know much about it but you might mute the flash a bit.

What image editing software are you using?
In Photoshop use the unsharp mask feature to sharpen your images..
 
Used Unsharp Mask in Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 (same as in Photoshop but much cheaper). Do you have a photo program?
