1st 2011 hunt - not pretty but I'll take it!

Temps were pushing 50 in Ct on Sat but I couldn't get out. I did manage an hour or so on Sun before the rain. I went back to my "go to" spot like I
did two weeks ago. My 1st find was a 1902 IH. Also found a 1919 wheat and another 1902 IH. Nothing great but I'll take it! Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

Nice hunt Bruce.

Too cold for me...and the only nice day was a solid downpour...so I'll just clean the SE and make it look nice:)

I'd be real happy with two Injuns in my pouch even if I couldn't find any silver on my hunt. Injuns where I live are getting very tough to find!!

Good luck on your next hunt, Bruce!! It's hard to believe you're still able to hunt....every time I think of winter and CT, I'm thinking major snow by now...I guess not!

That is a great day in my book...congrats !!

I have a couple sites that if I spend enough time there something old will show up. Nice to go to when all else fails or the weather is too bad.

Hey you beat my first coin of the year by a few years - 1906 IH. Nice finds! Glad you could get out and enjoy the hunt.
