1994 Canadian quarter-Looks like silver??

This was a surface find today. The side looks like its a silver not a clad. But I don't see a lot of Canadian coins here in Portland Oregon. I know there were silver proofs-but there is no sign of frosting or anything other than normal wear.I tried to "ring" it & it fails that test so I think I answered my own question. But the reeded edge shows no lamination like our clad...
Just didn't want to toss it in the clad machine if it was silver-so...Thanks!

Last year they made those :canadaflag:coins in silver was 1968
This one is a nickel alloy skin covering a iron coin.
Magnet should work well to attrack it
