1972 Class Rings..

Jack(IN)

New member
Found these two 1972 Class Rings from the same HS about a month or so apart in the same Park and not too far apart. The place I found them basically was an open area so figure there was some kind of function and both lost at the same time??? I guess when I return them I will find out how and when they were lost!!

Good Luck on finding the owner's of those Rings Jack. I returned one just over a year ago or so and the owner said he would send me a nice thank you letter for returning the Ring to him. I have yet to see anything in the mail from him and I have wrote to him twice and asked him if he got the Ring and if he would let me know. Not one word! I found another Class Ring and it is from the Dickinson State Teachers College and I decided I would just keep this one since the last guy was such a jerk. I wish I would have kept that Ring I had sent him now since it would make a nice addition to my Curio Cabinet. I hope you have better luck than I did and hope you get at least a thank you for being so nice on finding the owner and returning it to them. Good Luck and HH.

I found a ring maybe three years ago, notified the school, they gave me an address and it was the girls aunt, she flat out refused to do anything, finally recieved her fathers email and sent him an email explaining about the ring. I was pretty much called a liar and send the ring NOW, so I told him to go find it himself because I was going to throw the ring where I found it. Never recieved an email from the girl, and nothing more from the dad. I still have that ring. I have also had great experiences as well. Mike from VA Beach was helpful when I asked for his help returning a ring to a kid from a VA Beach school.

Unfortunately some are not very nice when a ring is returned but most are so I do my best trying to return. Heck it boggles the mind as one should be happy to have rings returned. One of our club members years ago was almost charged with theft as it was originally stolen in a home burglary...Go figger....Again fortunately I have had good results and happy ring owners but also have some horror stories.
