1967 dime error?

I found a 1967 dime this am all the letters in liberty are tight to the edge, half the 7 is buried in the edge and the reeding is nonexistant. The edge looks real thick, as do all the letters...sorry, for no pic, I need to get a camera capable of tight shots, just throwing this out there for advice. Thanks

No, Its not flattened, I'll take it to a coin shop or something when I get a chance, everything is crisp, I shoulda posted a picture, but I have no camera capable of the upclose shot. Thanks Al,

It is probably a mis-strike. Nothing about it in amy of my coin books. One of a kind??? Good luck! HH jim tn

Sounds like some sort of misstrike...might be worth a couple of bucks. Let us know what you find out !!

Hi Mudpuppy,

I have the same strange 1967 dime. It appears a bit smaller than a dime and the edge is smooth copper and raised. Were you able to find anything out about yours? Might be a strike error. thanks.
