1960 Half dollar

WTG Silver usually looks pretty good coming out of the dirt. My first silver coin was also a half and you'll never forget that feeling.

Good luck and many more goodies

Greg

Silver comes out of the ground basically the way it was when lost. Same with gold. Great find and thanks for sharing. HH to all, Nancy

WOW! Love the Franklin. Nice, very nice find. HH to all, Nancy

Nice looking coin. Did it knock your headphones off?

Well done!

Thats a great looking coin. What photo editing program are you using? HH Dennis in Idaho

Thanks for all your great comments. This is the 2nd time I have been to this school / park and still have only touched less than a forth of it. The school maybe a lot older but it shows on maps dating 1942. Last time I got over $10 in clad and a 1889 Chinese coin in about an hour. This time was the silver 1960 and a ton more clad. I live in Mountain View CA

Great silver coin!! Way to go and thanks for sharing, it definitely motivates the rest of us.

Great looking coin ! Congrats !!

A memorable find of mine is also a 1960 Frankie! It was in a heavily hunted parking strip and the only reason it hadn't been dug before was it was in almost the exact positioning of sprinkler heads (that were spaced at regular intervals) and had a small chunk of aluminum gutter resting by it. An anomaly in the VDI's gave it away and out it came! Big congratulations!!!

Nice coin and very nice quality on the photo............:clapping:
